Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (account registration, contact forms, support tickets, billing) including name, email, phone number, restaurant name, outlet addresses, GST details, and payment metadata. We also collect usage telemetry (device type, IP address, session logs, feature usage) and cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.
2
How We Use Your Information
We use personal data to provide and improve the Servingoo platform, process subscriptions, deliver customer support, send service notifications, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and — with your consent — share product updates. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process data based on: (a) contract performance — to deliver the SaaS service you subscribed to; (b) legitimate interests — security, analytics, and product improvement; (c) consent — marketing communications and non-essential cookies; (d) legal obligation — tax, accounting, and regulatory compliance.
4
India — IT Act 2000 & DPDP Act 2023
Servingoo is operated by Fyutrex Private Limited, registered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). Indian users have the right to access, correct, and erase personal data, and to nominate a person to exercise rights in the event of death or incapacity. Grievances may be filed with our Data Protection Officer at info@servingoo.com.
5
Data Sharing & Processors
We share data with trusted subprocessors only as needed to operate the service: cloud hosting (AWS India regions), payment gateways (Razorpay/Stripe), email delivery, and analytics providers. All processors are bound by data processing agreements. We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Servingoo, our users, or the public.
6
Data Security
We implement AES-256 encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments. Restaurant POS data uses offline-first local encryption on devices with secure cloud sync when connectivity is available.
7
Data Retention
We retain account data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after termination for billing reconciliation. Support tickets are retained for 3 years. Anonymised analytics may be retained indefinitely. You may request earlier deletion subject to legal retention requirements.
8
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to: access your data, rectify inaccuracies, erase data ("right to be forgotten"), restrict or object to processing, data portability, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email info@servingoo.com. We respond within 30 days (GDPR) or as required under DPDP.
9
International Data Transfers
Data is primarily stored in India (AWS ap-south-1). Where data is transferred outside India or the EEA, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards approved under applicable law.
10
Children's Privacy
Servingoo is a B2B restaurant management platform not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us immediately if you believe a minor has provided personal data.
11
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
